Starting with 2018, Bucharest became a coordination center for the Central Europe region (20 countries). The Group Services and the Commercial activity are coordinated from Bucharest, through the departments: Commercial, Procurement, Human Resources, Administrative, Financial, Legal, IT, Marketing and Communication.
The Bucharest office is also host to Michelin Corporate and Business Services. In the shared services center, more than 700 employees are managing the Financial, Logistics, Sales Administration, Purchasing and Personnel activities for Europe and other territories.
In 2020, the Michelin shared services center in Bucharest ranked among the most admired service centers in the world, according to a study conducted by the Shared Services and Outsourcing Network (SSON).
