Automation Project Engineer Prahova

Your mission:
The primary function of the Automation Project Engineer will be to deliver directly or with ︁the support of the external technical solutions providers: capital projects, design, installation and commissioning, automated engineering processes, electrical and plc-controlled equipment documented to Quality Management System (QMS), introduction of new equipment, originate, justify and deliver projects to improve the productivity, reliability and maintainability of the production equipment, reduce waste, improve product quality and reduce cost, technical support including problem solving / resolution according to internal customer requests.
What we are looking for:
- At least 3 years of experience in Automation/Engineering/Project Management
- Fluent in English and/or French;
- Subject Matter Expert for machinery controls, electrical engineering, drives, robotics, programming languages PLC, ROCKWELL and / or SIEMENS SIMATIC MANAGER and machine software;
- Bachelor’s Degree in Automation;
- Determinate, rigorous, and solution-oriented;
- Analytical thinker with interpersonal skills;
- Team player and people driven;
- Ability to plan and organize time effectively;
- Hands-on approach and willingness to spend only 30% of the working time in the production area and the 70% in the office.
What will you do:
- Lead Projects from automation/electrical/pneumatic/hydraulic technical point of view as a member of engineering project team, you will be tasked with delivering automation related technology, controlling and guiding the external provider throughout the project to meet internal customer’s needs goals;
- Clarify and define requirements with project beneficiaries and technical solution providers for the development of new equipment, adapted to the needs of the internal customer, in the form of fixed project descriptions and analyze design costs for creating automation systems;
- Ensure support for projects including writing protocols, specifications, Request for Proposal, User requirements, project schedule, change requests, engineering study, support and execute validation protocols / reports of new or modified equipment;
- Provide support in the analysis and resolution of the CAPA, Quality Notification and related issues;
- Interact with other functions within local and corporate stakeholders and with external suppliers that develops technical solutions for the equipment;
- Keep the immediate manager informed of all significant conditions and plans relating to assigned projects.
