What a Michelin recruiter expects from you in an interview (1)

From September 27 to November 7, 2021, you can meet us at Angajatori de Top, Technology and Business sections. We are waiting for you with vacancies in our factories in Zalău and Floresti (Prahova), as well as in our headquarters in Bucharest, in the Michelin Corporate & Business Services center.

Until then, if you want to prepare for a Michelin job interview, we asked our recruiters what they want to see in a candidate - so you can prepare to meet their expectations.

I think that my expectations from the candidates are as reasonable as possible ?; they are related both to their way of presenting themselves and to purely organizational aspects.

I would list a few:

• Punctuality;
• Adequate attire: with remote work, we may be tempted to attend an online interview in home attire, but the job interview, even online, is a meeting in a business context;
• Ensuring an environment conducive to such a discussion (no loud background noises, with a good internet connection).

I appreciate situations in which candidates have "done their homework" before:

• To learn about the company;
• Before going through the interview, to go through the job description in the job advertisement, so that they can give some information about the job they applied for;
• To be transparent and honest in everything they tell about themselves and their professional experience;
• To ask questions whenever a question of mine is not clear to them;
• To come up with additional questions related to any aspects they consider important to help them shape a better image of the role (responsibilities, way of working, tools, etc.).

I expect a positive attitude, even if there are emotions involved. I would like to discover their real desire to see, together with us, if we are suitable for a long-term collaboration.
