On Saturday, November 16, 2019, the 10 students participating in the dual education program initiated by Michelin at the Technological Energy High School in Câmpina visited the plant in Floresti. They were accompanied by parents, the high school principal, head teacher and other teachers. Their hosts were colleagues from the Service Personnel and from technical departments.
The visit had a two-fold purpose. On the one hand, the students discovered how to make a tire, visited maintenance workshops and practice workshops in the factory (where specific technical training is done - mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical).
Then, the students, parents, teachers and our colleagues from Michelin discussed about what they expect of each other in this partnership, so that it would be a win-win situation for all those involved.
We remind you that Michelin, together with three other companies from Prahova County and with the support of the Technological Energy High School in Campina, launched this year a class dedicated to training students in the dual education system, specializing in Low Voltage Electricity.
