General Ledger Analyst with English

This role is based in Michelin Corporate & Business Services in Bucharest, where more than 800 colleagues deliver excellence in Purchasing, Finance, Logistics, Order to Cash, Service Management and Personnel.

What we’re looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting;

  • Strong English language knowledge (French language would be a plus);

  • At least 4 years accounting/reporting experience (GL);

  • Good excel skills;

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills;

  • Previous experience using Oracle Cloud is a plus, but not mandatory.

The GL Analyst will:

  • Performs critical control and preparation tasks to produce monthly accounts reconciliations/ justifications and close the accounting period within deadlines.

  • Ensures quality and completeness of information recorded in Subledgers, General Ledger and all detailed accounting reports according to the processes concerned.

  • Initiates and conducts operational action plans with various actors to address non quality, correct malfunctions and achieve the KPIs in his/her scope.

  • Performs analysis and control of accounting transactions, reporting to Company (ies)'s CBS Leader and Local Accounting Manager.

  • Provides process(es)’ information necessary for Legal auditors and tax/regulations controllers within requested deadlines and with expected quality level.

  • Conducts ad-hoc analysis to support operational decisions.

  • Implements the validated standards in all his/her activities and proposes best practices to develop future standards.

  • May also play the role of Key User in a defined scope (tool, module, sub-process …); Key User is the first level contact towards operational people concerning any question about his/her scope, ERP tools and other systems tests, training service.
